We are affiliated with the Shotokan Karate International Federation.

SKIF was founded in 1977 by Hirokazu Kanazawa Kancho, now 10th dan. It has become one of the world's largest and finest karate organizations with over 2 million members in more than 100 countries. SKIF-USA is closely affiliated with SKIF Japan and is dedicated to the growth and development of SKIF in the United States.
